A group of 50 asthmatics from the city of Hyderabad participated in a mini-walkathon to raise awareness on the increased need of adherence to inhalers in monsoons due to increased risk of getting asthma attacks in the season. The participants walked with umbrellas to spread the message ‘Umbrellas for rains; Inhalers for lungs….protect yourself.’
We would like to thank Dr. Sudheer Alapati, Pulmonologist and General Physician, Sunshine Hospitals who addressed a press conference and provided guidelines to keep asthma at bay during monsoons.
