It is possible for one to be prepared against asthma attacks. One must ensure that their child's asthma is under control by regularly taking the medications as prescribed by the doctor and he/she avoids triggers as far as possible. The child must always carry the prescribed inhaler and medications, including the Reliever/Rescuer inhaler, to be used in case of an asthma attack. One must also ensure that the accompanying teachers are aware of the child's asthma, triggers, treatment and asthma action plan. Also, ensure that the teacher's have the emergnecy contact numbers.
