My husband has had COPD for a few years now. Lately, he has been sleeping a lot more than he used to. I mean he sleeps for almost the entire day, waking up just to eat and may be watch a bit of TV. Is this normal for COPD patients or should I be worried?
I thought only smokers can get COPD. I have never smoked tobacco but my doctor told me I have Alpha-1 COPD. How is this different from regular COPD? Does this mean my children may get this form of COPD too?
My doctor keeps advising me to exercise more; for this she has asked me to go for pulmonary rehabilitation . How can I exercise when I can't even catch my breath?
